The inland of Guardamar is known as the " Campo de Guardamar " and includes both El Raso and Urbanización Moncayo.
El Raso takes shape, crisscrossed by large tree-lined avenues and numerous green spaces. The surrounding farmland, cultivated with orange and lemon trees, smells fragrant at the time of their elegant flowering. The villas and apartments are spread out towards the nature reserve, the salt lake of the " Laguna de la Mata ". Vast protected areas that are home to flamingos and all types of migratory birds.
For those who choose to make it their home, there are many possibilities for walks and the practice of sports, such as horse riding and mountain biking, is easy. Away from stress and close to everything, you will find on site, a shopping centre, a mini market selling fresh bread every day, but also bars and restaurants and the many shops that are created every day. A very popular and lively market, locally known as the market of " El Campico de Guardamar " is open every Sunday morning with almost a thousand stalls.
A bus service serves the coast, the seaside resort of Guardamar-del-Segura is only ten minutes away. El Raso is only twenty kilometres from the international airport of Alicante – Elche (El Altet), departure of many flights every day to the major capitals of Europe.
